There’s something special about Christmas at the pub.

Warm lights, good food, a proper pint, friends gathered around the table and a little more time to enjoy one another. This December, Mark, David and the team at The Golden Lion in Winchester would love to welcome you for festive lunches, Christmas dinners and celebrations with family, friends and colleagues.

Our Christmas Menu is available from 1st–23rd December 2026, excluding Sundays, with all Christmas meals requiring pre-order. Choose from seasonal favourites including traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, pan-roasted venison, fillet of sea bass and vegetable Wellington, alongside festive starters and indulgent Christmas desserts.
Enjoy 2 courses for £32 or 3 courses for £39. A £5 per person deposit is required when making your Christmas booking, together with a completed booking form.
